I have no clue as to whether Benjamin still doing the talk shows now when over half of the season’s episodes have aired is good or a bad sign… if his media tour is going on because The Cleaner is a such a hit that talk show hosts expect him to draw viewers to their shows, or if A&E thinks that isn’t happy with how The Cleaner is doing and asked Benjamin to keep appearing on talk shows in the hope to draw viewers for the series.

However, even if A&E is happy with how The Cleaner is doing or not, I think they would jump at the opportunity to spread the word of a new series that they have on and see if they can have more people giving it a try, especially in September, if they are convinced – like many networks worldwide seem to be – that it is then that people are back en masse in front of their TV after a summer break.

Moreover, I guess Benjamin is sort an ideal guest for talk show hosts, with his being always kind and thoughtful, often funny, and willing to talk ‘personal’, not just ‘professional’. And with a new show on, he is likely to accept invitations to talk shows at the moment, which is a plus for those who have to come up with a new list of people to go on air with weekly or even daily.
