Benjamin Bratt on Law & Order and The People Speak

I hope many had the chance to watch “Fed” last Friday, guest starring Benjamin Bratt.

Those who didn’t, can watch the highlights of the episode on NBC’s video library page for Law & Order at

Law & Order – All Videos – NBC.com

and read a very detailed recap and review of the episode on All Things Law & Order:

Besides, All Things Law & Order shared some behind-the-scenes footage featuring Epatha Merkerson and Benjamin Bratt.

Those interested in ‘trivia’ may like to know that it sounds like this episode of Law & Order was inspired by the Federal Census worker found dead in Kentucky with the word “FED” on his chest. Oddly, though authorities originally suspected murder, they are now saying this was a suicide:

Finally, the documentary film “The People Speak” – featuring dramatic performances chronicling the history of this country, including charter documents, letters, diaries and more, from such celebrities as Benjamin Bratt, Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Viggo Mortensen, David Strathairn, Marisa Tomei, Jasmine Guy, Michael Ealy, Kerry Washington, and musical performances from Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder, Allison Moorer and John Legend – premiered yesterday night – Sunday, December 13, 2009 – on History Channel.

Benjamin Bratt’s Signed Art Print for Charity Auction

Benjamin has signed an art print from the Shepard Fairey “Love Unites” Auction.

The proceeds go to FAIR (Freedom Action Inclusion Rights), a grassroots organization started by Shepard Fairey, the celebrated street artist and creator of the now ubiquitous Obama HOPE image, to raise funds and awareness for marriage equality and LGBT rights. Fairey designed these pieces called ‘DEFEND EQUALITY LOVE UNITES’, which has become a unifying symbol of the post-Proposition 8 struggle for marriage equality.

FAIR has reached out to celebrities and notable supporters of marriage equality to personalize a series of poster size prints, provided directly from Shepard Fairey from his personal press during the first print run. These unique prints, each combining Shepard’s orginal image with the artistic touch of a an actor, filmmaker, artist, or politician, will be unveiled around the first anniversary of the passage of Proposition 8 in California, and are exclusively available for auction on Charitybuzz.com.
