“Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” on DVD

A reminder to say that the animated feature “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” (Benjamin Bratt lent his voice to Manny in it) was released on Region-1 (USA and Canada) DVD on January 5, and will be released on Region-2 DVD (Europe) on January 25, 2010.

Inspired by Ron and Judi Barrett’s children’s book, it tells of a world where giant pancakes and pasta fall from the sky as a scientist tries to solve world hunger. However, things go terribly wrong when excess amounts of food overload cities and towns.

“Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” was nominated  for a Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature Film, a Critics’ Choice Award for Best Animated Feature, a Satellite Award for Best Motion Picture, Animated or Mixed Media, and three Annie Awards for Animated Effects, Best Animated Feature, Directing in a Feature Production and Writing in a Feature Production.
