The Audio Publishers Association (APA) announced nominations for its 2010 Audies competition, an awards program devoted to honoring spoken word entertainment.
“Nelson Mandela’s Favorite African Folktales” – in which Benjamin Bratt did the narrating of “The Wolf Queen” – is running for an award in the Audiobook of the Year, Distinguished Achievement in Production, and Multi-Voiced Performance categories (for excellence in a multi-voiced performance of an audiobook, which includes multiple readers with OR without interaction).
The winners will be announced at the Audies Gala awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at The Museum of the City of New York in New York City.
