The Wall Las Memorias Project – an organization advancing the health of Latinos – is hosting their annual fundraiser, “ROJO: A Celebration of Life, Hope and Community Achievements”, at the historic Cicada Restaurant in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles next Wednesday, November 17, 2010.

The event will honor Peter and Benjamin Bratt’s for “La Mission”, as a film contributing to expanding the dialogue and awareness of the challenges faced by gay and lesbian Latinos in today’s society, as they seek harmony between their sexual orientation and strong cultural pride.

ROJO features music, wine and food tasting and brings together community, civic leaders, and a new generation of believers all fighting for the same cause, to celebrate life and hope.
