On Thursday, May 12, the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities (PCAH) and the nonprofit Sundance Institute will showcase five U.S. and five international award-winning independent films, including “La Mission” as part of its Film Forward: Advancing Cultural Dialogue initiative on The National Mall.
“La Mission” will be screened at 6 pm at the Smithsonian American Art Museum/The National Portrait Gallery, McEvoy Auditorium, 8th and G, NW. Admission: 10 US$.

The museums (two in one big building) are a wonderful place for a screening. I won’t be able to go, but I hope others will make it — such a nice honor for the film!
