A free screening of Thumbsucker is scheduled on Friday, June 17, at 7 pm, at Dallas Museum of Art Horchow Auditorium.
Written and directed by Mike Mills and based on the novel by Walter Kirn, this coming-of-age film is a “compassionate and amusingly skewed story about embracing your weirdness.” Starring Lou Taylor Pucci in the title role, Thumbsucker also features Tilda Swinton, Keanu Reeves, Vince Vaughn, Vincent d’Onofrio, and Benjamin Bratt and a soundtrack by The Polyphonic Spree.
