You never know…

… where running a web site can take you.

I thought to share this because I find it kind of nice. Earlier today, I was in a park with my laptop, selecting pics to upload to the E-Ring album in the gallery, when I was approached by a young hearing-impaired lady who started telling me she used to watch E-Ring and she liked the series and Benjamin’s performance in it. I felt lucky I took time to learn sign language.

  1. This has nothing to do with what you posted…that is the coolest thing though. I love it when you meet other Bratt fans  I just didn’t know where to but this. But there is a myspace site for The Cleaner! It’s new and it doesn’t have many friends but it does have some cool pics! :)

  2. I agree that it is great to meet people sharing your same passion or fandom.

Perhaps you can post the link to the MySpace site for The Cleaner, Lisa. I searched for it and came up with several pages, totally unrelated to the series. :(

  3. That’s such a great story….you really do never know who you’ll meet them or sometimes even why you met them. I used to take classes for sign language but that was sooo long ago….

  4. I have a deaf friend and this is why I learnt sign language. What is interesting is that there are different sign languages around the world and if you learnt sign language in a country, you may have a hard time to understand someone who learnt it somewhere else.

Anyway, I think this holiday of mine was marked by unexpected though pleasant encounters. On the plane back home, I met a lady who flying home from Peru and she enthusiastically told me about it and showed me gorgeous pics of Lima, Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Lake Titicaca… Well, this is the trip I’ve been dreaming about for a very long time… time to start saving towards it…
